If there is no number before ml on your label, for example 16.6mg/ml, that means 1 ml, so enter 1. If your label says per 0.5 ml, enter 0.5.

This calculator only does the math on the numbers you type. It does not recommend a dose. Always use the dose your provider prescribed, and ask us if anything does not match.
Why your vial does not look full
Vials are made bigger than the liquid they hold. A 10 ml vial is often filled with only 1, 2, 3 or 5 ml, so most of it looks empty. That is normal and it does not mean anything is missing. Match the ml on your label to the samples below.
Samples are drawn to scale and show roughly where the liquid sits. The exact line varies a little by vial shape.
