Pricing reviewed August 25, 2026
GLP-1 program prices and availability change frequently. The figures below were checked against each provider’s public website and should be confirmed before enrolling.
Choosing a GLP-1 telemedicine provider is not simply a matter of finding the lowest number in an advertisement. A useful comparison separates medication prices from membership or care fees, identifies whether an option is FDA-approved or compounded, explains how long a supply is expected to last, and shows what clinical support is included.
Semaglutide for Weight Loss uses a vial-program model. If a licensed clinician determines that treatment is appropriate, the patient purchases the prescribed vial program instead of paying a recurring platform membership fee. Hims, Hers, Ro, and LifeMD currently advertise separate care or membership fees for their GLP-1 programs. Henry Meds advertises an inclusive monthly price for its compounded injectable semaglutide program.
These differences matter, but price alone should not determine treatment. Medication type, clinical eligibility, dose, insurance coverage, pharmacy, monitoring, state availability, and patient preference all affect the right choice.
How this comparison was prepared
- We reviewed public U.S. self-pay pricing on each provider’s official website on August 25, 2026.
- Medication and membership or care fees are shown separately when they are billed separately.
- We do not treat a limited promotion, insurance copay, or eligibility-based manufacturer discount as a universal price.
- We do not assume that a compounded medication and an FDA-approved brand-name product are interchangeable.
- When a program covers more than one month, we show the upfront program price and its stated estimated duration rather than inventing a monthly total.
- Every prescription option requires individual clinical review. A listed product or price does not guarantee eligibility or availability.

| Ro | Wegovy® pill from $149/month. The $199/month Wegovy® pen offer applies to the first two months at 0.25 or 0.5 mg for qualifying signups through December 31, 2026; Ro lists $349/month at 1 to 2.4 mg and $399/month at 7.2 mg. | $39 for the first month, then $74 to $149/month depending on commitment and prepayment | FDA-approved brand-name products; medication is billed separately from the Ro Body membership. |

| LifeMD | Wegovy® cash-pay pricing from $199/month, subject to eligibility and supply | $39 for the first month, then as low as $75/month with an annual plan; medication billed separately | FDA-approved brand-name products, with insurance and cash-pay pathways. Important: These are not identical products or quantities. Our entry is a compounded vial program with an estimated beginner-use duration. The Hims/Hers, Ro, and LifeMD entries are advertised starting prices for FDA-approved Wegovy products plus a separate care fee. Dose, refill timing, prepayment, insurance, promotions, and clinical decisions can change the amount a patient pays.
How our semaglutide program works
Our current semaglutide pricing page starts at $195 for a 2.5 mg vial program described as a 7 to 8 week beginner kit. After consultation and clinician approval, the program includes the prescribed compounded medication, syringes, alcohol pads, a dosing schedule, and clinic support during the program term.
A vial’s duration depends on the prescribed weekly dose, concentration, dispensing instructions, and beyond-use date. An upfront vial price should not be divided into a monthly figure without accounting for the patient’s actual prescription.
Tirzepatide program comparison
| Provider | Public starting offer reviewed | Separate care fee? |
|---|---|---|
| Semaglutide for Weight Loss | $275 for a compounded 20 mg vial program described as a 6 to 8 week beginner kit | No recurring platform membership fee advertised |
| Hims / Hers | Zepbound® vial or KwikPen® from $299/month | Yes: $39 for the first month, then $149/month |
| Ro | Zepbound® KwikPen® starts at $299/month for 2.5 mg, with higher public prices at higher doses | Yes: $39 for the first month, then $74 to $149/month |
| LifeMD | Zepbound® vials from $299/month, subject to eligibility and supply | Yes: $39 for the first month, then as low as $75/month with an annual plan |
This table also compares different medication categories. Our listed offer is compounded tirzepatide, while the other entries are FDA-approved Zepbound products. The prices do not establish clinical equivalence. We did not find a current official public price for injectable tirzepatide from Henry Meds, so it is not included in this table.
What to compare before choosing a GLP-1 provider
The complete price
Ask whether the displayed amount includes the medication, clinician visits, membership, lab work, supplies, shipping, and dose increases. A low medication price can produce a higher total when a separate monthly care fee is required. Conversely, insurance coverage or a manufacturer program may make an FDA-approved product more affordable for an eligible patient.
FDA-approved versus compounded medication
FDA-approved products and compounded drugs are different categories. FDA reviews approved drugs for safety, effectiveness, and quality before marketing. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of an approved drug. FDA says compounded drugs should only be used when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug. Patients should obtain a prescription from a licensed clinician and use a state-licensed pharmacy.
Dose, quantity, and refill schedule
“Per month” can mean different things across programs. For a vial-based program, the relevant questions include total milligrams, concentration, prescribed weekly dose, number of vials, dispensing instructions, and beyond-use date. Never change a dose or extend use of a vial to reduce cost without instructions from the prescriber and dispensing pharmacy.
Clinical support
GLP-1 treatment requires more than shipment. Compare how easily patients can reach a clinician, how side effects and dose changes are handled, whether follow-up is included, and what happens if the prescribed option is unavailable or not tolerated.
Commitment and cancellation terms
Check whether a displayed rate requires annual prepayment, whether it increases after the first month, and whether medication and membership renew on different schedules. Review cancellation and refund terms before submitting payment.
Which model may be more affordable?
There is no single winner for every patient. For an eligible self-pay patient who has a documented medical need for a compounded option and prefers vial-based care, our model avoids a separate recurring platform membership fee. Whether it costs less overall depends on the prescribed product, dose, program duration, insurance, promotions, and refill timing. For a patient with insurance coverage, access to a manufacturer discount, or a preference for an FDA-approved brand-name product, a larger platform may be a better fit.
The fairest approach is to compare the complete cost for the exact medication, dose, quantity, and duration a clinician recommends, rather than comparing the smallest numbers displayed in advertisements.

Treatment, dose, product selection, and availability depend on a licensed clinician’s judgment, individual eligibility, state law, and pharmacy availability.
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing and advises their use only when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug.
